Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.
Former twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
